Explore the essence of neuroception, interoception and the role of senses in this three-day workshop with Tracy Stackhouse. You will learn first-hand what neuroception with sensory integration means for yourself and in relationships or profession. You will learn to use neuroception as a tool. Using the principles of Polyvagal theory and Sensory Integration, participants will learn and experience how safety is the basis for resilience, mental health and social connectedness. (For extended day program see below).
Tracy Stackhouse, MSc, combines theoretical scientific knowledge with her varied experience as a pediatric-ergotherapist, psychologist and neuroscientist.
- Day 1: Neuroception, core concepts of PVT and other scientific inputs such as SI, meaning of “felt sense of safety,” the cooperation between neuroception and senses
- Day 2: Neuroception, interoception and compassion, how do they influence each other and (mixed) autonomic states
- Day 3: Co-regulation and attunement as autonomic inputs, possibilities of co-regulation as a regulator in resilience, social engagement and mental health.
